cats, babies, dogs...

The recent post with the photo of the baby and the cat also got me thinking about the differences between cats and dogs as pets.

It occurred to me: A dog will sometimes take one for the team.

But a cat will usually say, "What team?"

    A dog says, "he loves me, takes care of me, feeds me, he must be a god!"

    A cat says, "He loves me, takes care of me, feeds me, I must be a god."

    Oh, give me a dog anytime. We now know in London that the songbird population has been reduced dramatically by the rise in the ownership of domestic cats. I'd much rather have birdsong than the screeching of warring moggies.
