ReplyDeleteI've also just found this blog recently which is great since you've retired. I started getting the Langa Letter sometime in 1997 and was sad to see you go from Windows Secrets. Probably half my computer knowledge came from you!

ReplyDeleteI, too, just found your blog after reading you had retired. LangaList was the go-to how-to for years. It made me look so techno advanced. I have let my Windows Secrets subscription expire. Thanks for your expertise both in the computer world and the ability to make it comprehendable to everyone.
I so understand the burnt part, even in something you love and are good at. Enjoy your retirement while you can, you will get sucked back in.
My mind is boggling after watching the demo video. Grasping the idea of folding through dimensions is the hardest bit for me. But if one can accept it, then the rest make sense...I think...

I always wondered (having used "Intrinsic Analysis" for my Master's Thesis, and that being just about as close to multidimensional analysis as you can get without calling it that) how to deal with the "end-point" conceptually. Gee, *are* there 'only' 10 dimensions... and then you have to 'invent' some other concept? Or...
