Arrived Alive

Great trip. Long, tiring ride home. About 3200 miles (5100km) total.

I did the 1500 mile ride down in about 32 hours, the similar ride home in 36. I napped in roadside rest areas when fatigue set in.



It was very very cold on the ride home--- just above freezing at one point, with the 70mph (112kph) wind speed yielding an effective temperature down around 0F (-17C). It's snowing in northern New Hampshire today, but I beat the precip home.
