Happy New Year!

A meditation for the new year:

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...
it's about learning to dance in the rain."

  1. Fred,

Along the same line "Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance."

  2. And Happy New Year to you, too, Fred. Is there a source for that? It's a good one!

(well...it might be original with FL-anyone who can make an apple pie production so interesting could produce a great quote like that)

That's a great statement Fred, Thanks!

May 09 bring you peace and a loving relationship. It happened for me and the smart money had bet that I would NEVER find someone to be happy with-I had been married a few times before-very unhappily-one disaster was an 18 year nuke fest. My wife and I have been together 4.5 years as of today. She's wonderful and she thinks I am too. THAT is amazing.

  4. Thanks all.

No, it's not my quote. But I couldn't find an original attribution--- it's all over the web.

I suspect the original version, whatever it was, was a bit more complete. But the version above conveys, albeit incomplete, is a nicely outlook for a new year.

(Irish wristwatch... hmmm, I'm still good. ;-) )

Just a tad late I know, but the sentiment is still there, and today is still here...
