The Aurora, at eye-level!

The crew of the International Space Station have an incredible vantage from which to see both the southern (Australis) and northern (Borealis) Auroras: edge-on.

The Boston Globe has an online feature called "The Big Picture;" galleries of glorious, hi-res photos that would suck if printed on newsprint with cheap inks.
