Wasn't there a study done that concluded similar outcomes could be achieved using hypnosis? I'd say this one makes more sense.
Makes sense to me. Mary Roach's excellent book "Spook" has lots of similar stuff: scientific explanations of so-called paranormal stuff like feeling a cold draught in the presence of what people take to be a ghost. Highly recommended.
