The 19 most complex and dangerous roads in the world | By the Waze

I've driven Stelvio, but none of the others. Some look like fun. Others, not so much.

  1. Wow. I had no idea there were so many. I also didn't know that Trollstigen and the Judge Harry Pregerson Interchange, both of which I've driven, were considered worse that the Amalfi drive (in Italy) or the "bad" stretch of the 17 (?) outside of San Francisco or the "uphill-downhill" (over a mountain) road to Sparta (in Greece.) Thankfully, I think, I've forgotten the designations of the latter two. The Amalfi drive was/is so beautiful the monster trucks coming around the hairpin curves at full speed were all the more scary. The drive up/down the West Coast on PCH is also beautiful, but tame driving compared to the others - even when pieces of it are "missing" as is so often the case.
