I've never seen this before: shock waves in the cirrus

Amateur video shows the rocket carrying the Solar Dynamics Observatory to orbit blasting through a patch of cirrus clouds --- ice crystals, replete with a '"sun dog" rainbow caused by sunlight refracting in the crystals.

Watch closely: You can see shock waves rippling through the cirrus as the supersonic rocket punches through. Amazing!
