Comparative photos of Mount Everest

"Returning to exactly the same place where British climber George Mallory took photos in 1921, Breashears has meticulously recreated their (1921) shots, pixel for pixel," the AS statement said.

"The photographs illustrate the severity of the loss of ice mass among the glaciers surrounding Mount Everest."

  1. Hmm, global warming must've caused it! There's no doubt about it! However, even if there's massive ice loss around Mt. Everest, people still want to visit it and reach its peak. It's actually not that hard these days.

  2. I think you were actually trying to mock the idea of "anthropogenic warming," not "global warming."

The ice melted. Ergo, it got warmer. Kinda hard to get around that.

Be careful with science jokes. They'll reveal gaps in your knowledge and reasoning faster than any other.
