wtf is this, Accuweather? ( #irene #accuweathersucks )

I know all the networks are hyping the hurricane way more than it deserves (rational warnings are good; hyperbole is bad), but look at the insane new color coding AccuWeather just added.


WTF is this? Raining blood?

Come on, Accuweather. You're not helping.

When Armageddon doesn't happen, people will remember, and disparage you (and all weather forecasts, and rational weather warnings; and science in general) in the future.

It's a big storm, not the end of the freaking world.
