I know all the networks are hyping the hurricane way more than it deserves (rational warnings are good; hyperbole is bad), but look at the insane new color coding AccuWeather just added. 
WTF is this? Raining blood? For comparison, here's the actual NOAA rada, without editorial embellishments: 
Come on, Accuweather. You're not helping. When Armageddon doesn't happen, people will remember, and disparage you (and all weather forecasts, and rational weather warnings; and science in general) in the future. It's a big storm, not the end of the freaking world. Jeebus.
When a company is run by salesmen for children you must use lots of hyperbole and irritating color schemes.
