So... "allowing" women to have "occasional" orgasms under strictly regulated conditions is the "sensible" position? Majority rule over an individual's unalienable right to own even her own body is viewed as acceptable "common ground" to liberals today, here in the Land of the Free? They're willing to concede that? We vote on "rights" now...?
Well, since his election, toker-in-chief Obama's learned to love the 'War on People Who Use (Some) Drugs' (they simply shouldn't assume the same personal freedoms that he did), and Guantanamo, and warrantless searches, and government opacity, and imperialistic wars of aggression, and... (or maybe he really always did). And the DP is now quite content with all of those, so I guess it all does simply come down to the letter after the name, eh? One of the 2 we're "allowed."
So much for principle. So much for liberty. So much even for the rule of law (which for this government starts with the limitations imposed by its charter, the Constitution, jbtw). "Yay, team...!"
