I've taken to using Microsoft Livewriter to prepare Blog posts for exactly that reason. So far it's never eaten anything. The only problem with it is that it's a thick client with apparently no way to set where it's keeping its user data. So each machine it's installed on just has the posts you prepared on that machine. Anyhow, keep up the good work, I've been following your blogs since the internet was in black and white.
