The stupid... it burns!

This bit of insanity is currently making the rounds on right-wing social media: Of course, the local Native Americans originally named the mountain "Denali," meaning (in Athabaskan) "the big one" or "the great one." No one called it McKinley until 1917. The state of Alaska has officially called the mountain by its original name --- Denali --- since 1975, and the State Government (including its Republican senators) have been trying to get the US Government to make the change nationwide for years.
