MILTON, N.H. -- Thieves in Milton stole a large sign from outside the Police Department during daylight hours on Saturday in what police are calling a brazen crime. Police said the 4-foot-tall, 50-pound sign is historic. It's a wooden replica of the shoulder patch Milton police officers wear on their uniforms.
