Ever see a photo and say to yourself...

"That can't be real."

But the more you look at the small details, you experience the dawning horror that maybe, just maybe, it is exactly as it seems.

    I'm still in the "can't be real" camp on this one... nice job of telling a visual story either way... can you cite your source, that might sway me... context is everything

    It looks real to me. Bath time in Appalachia is a very traumatic time you know!

    Indeed it could be a spectacular fake.

    But things like the missing index finger on the woman in the foreground suggest either a fanatical approach to casting and/or photo-retouching, or it's simply real.

    Either way, it's something you sure don't see every day!

    I don't get it. Why is he naeked? Had he been wearing his wife's clothes? At least he's not wearing any make up! Could it be there is some trippy connection between this and the "letter of the day" post?
