Tomorrow marks the 30th anniversary of the emoticon, which means that Carnegie Melon computer science professor Scott Fahlman has been dutifully answering questions from journalists who, unlike me, did not interview "The Father of the Emoticon" back in 2007 for the 25th anniversary.
