What is the big deal with this failed space mission? It failed, the Soyuz program has sucked for quite a while now and the probe was gonna fall to Earth. Big deal. This is not news to be shown continuously on TOI for 5 days.
But this also was the most-potentially toxic satellite to fall back to earth, ever. No manmade object with that much unspent fuel had ever reentered. This satellite also contained a radioisotope generator; not a big deal when they're designed properly. But a previous failed Russian radioisotope generator did not survive reentry and scattered its bits across parts of Canada.
